Background
Oyeronke Oyebanji is the Head of Lassa Engagement at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), where she leads country and regional collaborations to accelerate Lassa vaccine development. With nearly ten years of global health experience, Oyeronke has led and contributed to significant initiatives, including her role as an Analyst within the COVAX facility, helping to deliver 2 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses globally.
Previous Roles
As Chief of Staff to the Deputy CEO at CEPI, she played a role in shaping the organisation's policy, partnerships, and access strategies. Between 2016 and 2020, she served as Technical Assistant for Policy and Partnerships to the Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, contributing to the agency's transformation.
Current Focus
Oyeronke is committed to strengthening health systems and building equitable, respectful partnerships. Her doctoral research at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine is analysing the feasibility of Nigeria's vaccine manufacturing strategy, contributing to sustainable solutions for local vaccine manufacturing.
