Experience
Coordination of the development of the strategic plan for Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) 2023-2027. He is the MPOX Incident Manager.
Expertise
Expert in the field of epidemiological surveillance and International Health Regulations. In this capacity, he is one of the WHO experts for the joint external evaluations of the IHR and has supported many countries for After Action Reviews of epidemic responses. He is also the President of the steering committee (COPIL) of the syndromic sentinel surveillance network in Senegal (R4S) and a member of the National IHR Focal Point and the National Committee for Epidemic Management.
